- Wall area is the distance around the room times the wall height; the ceiling is the length times the width.
- Doors and windows aren't taken off: the offcuts are rarely usable, so most estimates count the whole wall.
- Sheets are the area plus waste (10% unless you change it) divided by the area of one sheet, rounded up.
