Terms and refunds
The agreement between you and DrawPlans, in plain language. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to it.
Last updated October 20, 2026.
What DrawPlans is
DrawPlans is a floor plan drawing tool that runs in your browser. With an account you can draw one plan with every tool and look at it in 3D. Downloading files, sharing a plan by link and keeping more than one plan need a paid plan.
Your account
Use an email address you can read, because that is where confirmation links, receipts and notices about your plan are sent. Keep your password to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what is done with it.
To delete your account, write to support@drawplans.net from the address on the account. A running subscription has to be canceled first. Deleting the account deletes every plan saved to it.
Plans and payment
These are the plans. Prices are in US dollars.
- Monthly: $7.99 per monthRenews every month. Cancel anytime.
- Yearly: $59 per yearWorks out to $4.92 a month. Save 38%.
- 30-day pass: $9.99 one time30 days of everything, paid once. Doesn't renew.
The Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically. Your card is charged again at the start of each new month or year, at the price shown, until you cancel. The 30-day pass is a single payment and never renews.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number. The payment page shows the full amount before you pay.
If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will email you before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
Canceling
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing page in your account menu. It takes a moment and you don't need to contact us. You keep your access until the end of the month or year you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Refunds
You can draw a plan with every tool and see it in 3D before you pay, so purchases are not refunded as a rule. If something didn't work as it should, write to support@drawplans.net from the address on your account and tell us what happened; we read every message and decide case by case. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
If we do refund a payment, the money goes back to the card or payment method you used and usually shows up within 5 to 10 business days. A refund ends the access that payment paid for, and a refunded subscription is canceled so it doesn't renew.
Please write to us before asking your bank to reverse a payment. Talking to us is quicker, and a payment disputed with the bank ends the access it paid for in the same way.
None of this takes away rights the law gives you where you live, such as a longer period to change your mind.
Your plans
The plans you draw are yours. We claim no rights over them. They are saved to your account as you draw, so you can open them on another device; the privacy page explains exactly what is stored.
Plans stay in your account if your paid plan ends. You can still open and edit them, but downloading files, sharing and starting new plans need a plan again. Keep your own copy of anything important: download a PDF or a picture of a plan you rely on. Deleting a plan or your account removes it for good.
A share link shows the plan to anyone who has the link, in 2D and 3D, with its comments. Only share a link with people you want to see the plan, and turn sharing off in the editor when you're done.
Drawings, not construction documents
DrawPlans makes drawings for planning, listing, furnishing and explaining a space. They are not architectural or engineering drawings. Check every measurement yourself, and before building, buying, applying for a permit or signing anything on the strength of a plan, have it checked by a qualified professional where you live. Decisions you make from a drawing are yours.
Using DrawPlans fairly
Only trace over pictures and documents you have the right to use, and don't use DrawPlans for anything unlawful. Don't try to get around the payment for downloads and sharing, break into the service or other people's accounts, overload it, or resell it as your own. Comments left on a shared plan must be civil; the plan's owner can delete them.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of this.
What we can and can't promise
We work to keep DrawPlans running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available or that every export will suit every program. Open a downloaded file before you rely on it, especially a DXF or 3D model, since CAD and 3D programs read these formats in different ways.
Tools and features may be added, changed or removed over time. If a change takes away something you paid for, write to us and we will put it right or refund that payment.
As far as the law allows, DrawPlans is provided as it is, and our responsibility to you for any loss connected with it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the loss. This does not limit anything that the law says cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change affects what you pay or what your plan includes, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
